Bilal Farooqui
Chief Executive Officer
Bilal has spent his career building consumer healthcare technology at scale. Before founding Sunny Health AI, he was a product leader at Rally Health, UnitedHealth Group and RVO Health, where he built products spanning healthcare navigation, provider search, payments and consumer AI. Earlier in his career, he founded a Y Combinator company that reached millions of users. At Sunny, Bilal leads the company’s product, strategy and mission to build an autonomous operating layer for healthcare.
Bo Wang, MD, PharmD
Chief Medical Officer
Bo is a board-certified internal medicine physician, pharmacist, and healthcare executive with over two decades of experience spanning clinical practice and product leadership. Before Sunny, he served as Chief Medical Officer of Health IQ and RVO Health and as Clinical Lead at Google. Bo received his MD from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency at Stanford. He maintains an active clinical practice, and his health policy research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) and The BMJ. At Sunny, he ensures that the company’s technology is clinically rigorous and thoughtfully designed around the needs and realities of patients and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
Nikolas Yanek-Chrones
Chief Technology Officer
Nik is a machine-learning engineer and founder focused on building intelligent systems that solve complex, real-world problems. He studied cognitive science, machine learning and neural computation at UC San Diego and previously founded IcarAI, where he developed AI tools to reduce administrative work for special-education teachers. At Sunny, Nik leads the engineering and AI infrastructure powering autonomous benefits verification, provider navigation and appointment coordination.
Ayush Tomar
Chief Data Officer
Ayush is a healthcare AI and data leader who has spent more than a decade building machine-learning systems for care navigation, provider search and clinical intelligence. Before Sunny, he was a Principal Machine Learning Scientist at UnitedHealth Group, where he led work helping members identify the right providers, and served as CTO and co-founder of a Y Combinator-backed healthcare company. He has filed more than 15 patents involving applications of AI in healthcare. At Sunny, Ayush leads the development of the provider, network, cost and quality data infrastructure underlying every Sunny agent.
